Fall fairs and other things I don't love about October

We conquered the pumpkin patch today, and apparently now pumpkin patches are on steroids and feature various other patches and fields, mazes, animals, ciders, markets and even restrooms that are port-a-potties’ fancier cousins.

Some of us like this heightened level of fall things more than others who are not pictured and remembered to take pictures. This allows the anonymous person to look back one day and think, “Aw, remember the days when we went to pumpkin patches?” And then this person will go back to reading her book on the couch while sipping on Cold Brew and admiring the pumpkin she got at the farmers market because she’s not a fall person and cannot get behind the pumpkin everything celebrations.

Oh, and these smiling cherubs were not so smiley for a good portion of the day today, reminding us yet again that a trip to Disney is absolutely out of the question until 2025 at the earliest.
